Hailing from the 7th Ward neighborhood in New Orleans, Julian “Juice” Gosin is an artist, producer, trumpeter, MC, and educator. Best known for being a longtime member of award-winning and globally renowned brass band The Soul Rebels, Julian has worked with and been featured alongside Metallica, Nas, Lenny Kravitz, Wu-Tang Clan, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, and Maceo Parker. He has also recorded music with artists like Big Freedia, Trombone Shorty, G-Eazy, Phony ppl, and Dave East.

His recent debut album, Be Intentional, launched his solo career. The self-produced and written album has elements of hip hop, pop, RnB, and dance music and features Trombone Shorty, Nicolas Payton, and Nigel Hall.

Julian continues to be one of the most in-demand New Orleans musicians. He has appeared on “America’s Got Talent,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” and GZA of Wu-Tang Clan’s NPR “Tiny Desk” performance.

He’s been featured in commercials for Sony Music and Shea Moisturizer and in films like Girls’ Trip and Disney’s The Haunted Mansion.

In addition to his work as an artist and producer, Julian has been teaching for over 5 years at Warren Easton Charter School and as the lead instructor for Trombone Shorty Foundation’s Trombone Shorty Academy program.
